8 bunnies rehomed last week

It was a great week for our shelter. We were able to rehome 8 bunnies!

Stamper, a beautiful female bunny was looking for a new pal, as her mate just recently passed away. A bit nervous she came to the shelter to look for her new friend and we tried Doerak with her and............ they liked eachother.

After that also Ike was rehomed....and he is a lucky bunny indeed cause he will be joining two female bunnies and get's a huge area in the garden to run around.

And that's not all: Also three other bunnies (brother & 2 sisters) found a good home. They where born in our shelter a few weeks ago (see also following article posted on Rabbitpal earlier this year).

They are adopted out to a friendly family who actually wanted two rabbits but found it unbearable that one of them had to stay behind.  And so, Lana, Vita & Trafar can stay together for the rest of their lifes.

And finally: Tatum brought us an unexpected visit as well; she was also on the look out for a new pal. She can't get along with two other bunnies in the household, but really misses a partner of her own. We tried different bunnies but she ignored them all. Finally we tried Humphrey, a young cute little bunny, and well.... she noticed him immediately. Here you see them making acquaintance with eachother.

Also Humpel & Dimpel found a new home together.

So all in all it was a very good week for the shelter. Nowadays luckily more and more people are aware of the fact that bunnies are social animals and are in need of a partner. We try to promote that as much as possible and therefore are very happy to have rehomed all the bunnies with a partner (either from the shelter or one already present).
