(WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 19)

DOZENS of unwanted rabbits have been found by RSPCA workers in different areas of Bucks including Wendover Woods.
South Bucks RSPCA has issued an urgent appeal as they are struggling to find homes for the rabbits.

Heather Gobran, small animal homing co-ordinator for the local branch, said: "There have been so many rabbits let go all over the place. We found one wandering around Wendover Woods.

"People think that they can survive in the wild but they can't. They are usually very lucky if they are found alive. At this moment in time it is a huge problem as we cannot find homes for them." she added.

If you want to contact South Bucks RSPCA regarding adopting a rabbit or another small animal, please call 01494 863009 between 9am and 5pm.
