Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue is asking for help if anyone has room in their home for a House Rabbit, or who knows someone who might. Zooh Corner is located in San Gabriel, SoCal, and we have almost 40 rabbits right now who are looking for homes, with space only for about 20!

On October 25, 2008 we celebrated the completion of the first phase of our Build for the Bunnies project, which was a dream come true! After raising nearly $10,000 in private donations from our volunteers and bunny lovers from across the country, we completely renovated the rabbit area at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society. Below are some pictures of the incredible transformation – click the below button to see more photos of the project and the dedication event, and to see a list of the generous donors that made the project possible! And you may have noticed above that we raised NEARLY $10,000 – not quite to our goal, and the project cost us a bit more than expected. This has taken a bite out of our general fund, and we need your continued support to keep things running. Hello.  My name is Rufus and I am a disabled bunny. My back end is paralyzed. I came to Zooh Corner several weeks ago with a broken back, two jaw fractures and several broken teeth. (We think he was dropped by a hawk and ignored for several days before being abandoned at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society, where he was immediately taken in by Zooh president Alex Logsdon and her boyfriend, Kevin (thanks for being there at just the right time to call us, Cricket!).) My medical care has taken a chunk of change from Zooh Corner's bank account and I still have a way to go before I am healed. Would you be kind enough to make a donation to Zooh Corner in my name? We are overwhelmed with rabbits at the San Gabriel Humane Society right now. We have had 8 rabbits dumped in the last week, and one of the females just gave birth to 8 babies!! We have no more cage space, and need to get some of them out ASAP. All of these bunnies are so deserving of a loving home. We will spay/neuter them and most are even great with their litter boxes too! Can you help us by taking in a bunny as a foster or permanent resident? We are also in desperate need of finacial assistance to cover all the emergency spays on the other females dumped this week. Please call us (626) 576-BUNI to order or for additional information. We do not have regular hours yet, but feel free to call and set up an appointment to check out our goodies and hay! In order to get our online store up and running, we need a reliable volunteer or two to help us! With so much else going on, we don't have the man power to keep a reliable store up and running, and we don't want to disappoint customers. We are looking for someone to give us a few hours a day, maybe 2 days a week. It will involve getting the orders off of the email, filling the box, and taking it to the post office. We have volunteers to help make the toys, we just don't have someone to fill the orders every week. It's won't be a lot of time at first, but once our customor base grows, it may involve more time, or a second volunteer. Please email us or give us a call if you would be willing to give us a few hours a week. (We are located in San Gabriel, CA)

We really need help to care for the bunnies at this shelter. We will train you. The more volunteers we have, the better we will be able to care for these rabbits! Even if you can only spare one hour a week, or a few hours every other week (consistently) we can use your help.
