Off the streets of Abuse to A Forever Paradise!!

The day I layed my eyes on a big adorable white bunny I new from that point on I was going to be his forever mommy, hero and rescuer. With his matted fur, infested ear mites, skinny body, and bleeding skin infection he still never gave up on himself and his will for survival. Wilbur my New Zealand White rabbit was brought into my home. He was left outside by himself through rain, wind, the scortching heat and even a hurricane! His previous owners just simply did not want him anymore so they let him outside on the strets to survive on himself. Completely disgusted I had taken on the comitment to save this loveable boy! He needed his ears flushed, medication for his bitten up ears, and special medication for his bleeding skin.Scared to death of humans because of know attention throughout his life he still never ever tryed to bite once, even going through tests & special medicated bathes daily for weeks.Wilbur healed slowy and so did his heart. All he needed was some TLC! I can even explain how I felt the first time he did his first binky or the time he ran over to me asking for pets. Its something I will never forget. Wilbur is now spoiled rotten!! I had him for over a year now and he is my pride and joy! He taught me to never give up even when it seems impossible. We kinda fixed each other, I saved his life and Wilbur took my heart into a world of understanding and patients. We both new it was in each other. If I can send a msg out to anyone about Wilburs life, it would be to teach people that rabbits are a big commitment and you cant juss put a wonderful life outside! They will surely not survive. So next time you see a little or big furball hopping outside scared and lonely remember Wilburs story. You might not beable to save the world but you can save one life for sure! Love, Morgan & Wilbur
