Finally we can write our first column! We were asked a while ago by the webmaster if we wanted to write something on this site, but we (well just Ruth actually) first had to learn to type English.
Let’s introduce ourselves then ok Bram? We are Bram and Ruth, the most famous rabbits in the Netherlands, we even have our own weblog. Nohooo I can hear you all say Roet, but that’s the black stuff that comes out of the chimney! My name is Ruth R-U-T-H. Calm down Ruth, can’t you hear that they say my name wrong too, they call me Brem but that’s some kind of bush over here. Never mind it’s their problem, not ours! Let’s continue introducing ourselves shall we?
The gorgeous little brown and grey rabbit you see on the picture is me Ruth. I’m around 1 year old and came from a rescue centre in Sittard. I know what I want (and don’t want) and only listen to Bram – he is such a calm gentleman, hard to pick a fight with. The cats that live here have accepted me as their boss and run away with their tails between their legs with a twitch of my ears!
Yes are you finished Ruth? I should have known that you were going to introduce yourself first! Anyway, that even more gorgeous rabbit you see on the picture is me Bram. I’m 6,5 years old and came from a rescue centre in Hampshire (UK). Ruth is my second girlfriend and she makes me so happy and makes me feel so young again!
We hope we can entertain all of you with our little ramblings about life in the Netherlands. At the moment Bram is in a contest to become Super Rabbit 2006!
